Field Supervisor – Jacksonville, Florida & Surrounding Areas
Independent Contractor Position
PrimeSource Communications Group LLC (PSCG) is currently seeking an experienced and motivated Field Supervisor to support our growing fiber construction operations in Jacksonville, Florida and surrounding areas.
This position is ideal for an individual with telecommunications, utility construction, or underground fiber experience who can operate independently, maintain professionalism in the field, and assist with daily operational oversight.
Responsibilities
- Maintain and organize warehouse inventory, materials, and equipment
- Conduct field site surveys and route assessments
- Perform quality control inspections on completed work
- Assist technicians in the field when necessary
- Verify restoration quality and ensure company standards are met
- Coordinate with management regarding field conditions, contractor performance, and operational needs
- Assist with small irrigation repairs and minor fiber repairs when required
- Track and report inventory usage, damages, and shortages
- Ensure crews are operating safely and professionally in the field
- Conduct spot checks on active jobs and completed work orders
- Assist with loading, unloading, and staging materials for field operations
Requirements
- Must have a reliable vehicle suitable for daily travel throughout the Jacksonville market
- Previous experience in telecommunications, underground utility construction, or fiber operations preferred
- Ability to work independently with limited supervision
- Strong communication and organizational skills
- Comfortable working outdoors in various weather conditions
- Basic understanding of hand tools, restoration practices, irrigation systems, and fiber drops preferred
- Ability to lift materials and equipment as needed
- Valid driver’s license required

- Quality control inspections

Pay: $18.00 - $25.00 per hour
