Job Overview
Our busy pediatric clinic has an immediate opening for a Pediatric Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) or Certified Medical Assistant (CMA). In this full-time position, you will provide essential pediatric patient support within our outpatient clinic, ensuring smooth operations and exceptional patient experiences. We require someone with a positive mindset, energetic approach, and attention to detail and someone who will help foster a welcoming environment for children and their families, while supporting our healthcare providers in delivering top-tier care.
Responsibilities
- Assist with patient intakes, including gathering medical histories and documenting symptoms accurately
- Measure and record vital signs such as height, weight, temperature, pulse, respiration, and blood pressure with precision
- Support providers during examinations, procedures, and treatments
- Administer medications and vaccines following proper protocols, ensuring patient safety at all times
- Maintain accurate documentation within Athena Electronic Health Record (EHR) system.
- Administrative tasks such as referrals, prior authorizations, patient calls, retrieving and routing patient messages.
- Ability to perform clinical tasks such as vaccine administration and vital sign collection confidently
- Excellent patient skills with a warm, friendly approach that reassures children and families during stressful situations
Pay: $16.00 - $22.00 per hour
