We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Lead Infant Teacher to join our vibrant early childhood education team. Responsibilities
- Lead daily classroom activities tailored to infants’ developmental stages, ensuring a stimulating and safe environment.
- Develop individualized care plans that address each infant’s physical, emotional, and developmental needs.
- Manage classroom routines including diapering, feeding, nap times, and transitions with patience and professionalism.
- Communicate regularly with parents or guardians about their child's progress, milestones, and any concerns, fostering strong partnerships.
- Ensure compliance with all health and safety regulations.
- Maintain detailed documentation of developmental progress, incident reports, and classroom activities for accountability and continuous improvement.
- Engage in ongoing professional development related to childhood development instruction, classroom management, and early childhood education best practices
Requirements
- Proven experience working for at least 2 years with infants in daycare or preschool settings, including classroom management and child supervision
- Strong knowledge of childhood development principles, early childhood education standards, and behavior management techniques
- Certification in First Aid and CPR (including Pediatric First Aid) is required; ongoing training in mandated reporting laws is essential
- Excellent communication skills for effective parent interaction and team collaboration
- Ability to lead a classroom with confidence while maintaining a warm, nurturing atmosphere
- Knowledge of toddler care, infant care best practices, and classroom experience in daycare or childcare centers
