Blue Ribbon Meats & Seafood is hiring a Warehouse Associate. The position will require the ideal candidate to manage and efficiently complete all daily tasks within the receiving dock and product storage areas, including inventory counts.
Responsibilities Include:
- Replenishing the stock pallets for our meat cutters. This is done via walkie talkie, cutters will inform the associate of their needs
- General organization in the meat cutting room. Dropping pallets, organizing stock, creating space and general tidying of area will be an ongoing responsibility
- General organziation of our ready-to-eat (refridgerated) section. Consolodate, rotate, and maximize space as much as possible.
- Ensure the loading dock area is clear, and as empty as possible, especially at shifts end.
- General organization of our dry storage area . Putting away supply orders. Drop boxes if needed. Ensure dry storage is clutter-free and as organized as possible.
- General organization of freezer. Consolodating product. Keeping room clutter-free
- Scanning inventory in freezer that will be used in the meat cutting room
- Auditing - daily list of products that will need to be auditing for inventory accuracy
- Ensure product is stocked and ready for the next meat-cutting shift by nights end
- any other various warehousing tasks
Hours: SECOND SHIFT 5pm -1am
This is an hourly position. Overtime is available. Health Benefits are 100% company paid!
IDEAL CANDIDATE MUST BE ABLE TO:
*Use scanning and labeling technologies
* Lift 40+ Pounds
* Handle Food
* Work in cold Environment.
-Have a valid license and be able to drive a box truck
-Strong preference for candidates who have prior experience creating and implementing new processes.
This is a 40+ hour/week opportunity. Position includes a generous employment package including healthcare, retirement savings options, and paid vacation time. Overtime pay available.
