Classic BMW, a proud member of the Classic Auto Group, is seeking one experienced Automotive Parts Counterperson to join our team. This is an excellent opportunity for someone looking to grow within a well-established dealership environment.
Requirements:
- Minimum 1-year recent experience in an automotive parts department(dealership experience preferred).
- BMW and/or MINI parts experience strongly preferred.
- Open to candidates with parts store backgrounds who are ready to advance to a dealership setting.
Key Responsibilities:
- Sell parts at retail and wholesale levels over the counter, through the service shop, phone, and online.
- Assist customers in selecting required parts and suggest companion items and promotions.
- Pull and prepare parts for purchase and service orders.
- Check in parts inventory when delivered from Manufacture on a daily basis.
- Handle special/emergency orders for unavailable parts.
- Answer customer and sales rep calls with accurate quotes and information.
- Prepare orders for daily delivery, pickup, or shipment.
- Manage back-orders and returns on a weekly basis.
Physical Requirements & Work Environment:
- Ability to lift up to75 lbs.
- Frequent walking, reaching, climbing, and standing (68 hours/day).
- Exposure to typical shop elements such as dust, noise, and fumes when delivering parts.
