We are seeking a responsible and dependable Part Time Closer to join our daycare center team. This role is essential for ensuring the safe and smooth closing of the facility at the end of each day. Responsibilities
- Safely and securely close the daycare center at the end of the day, ensuring all areas are properly secured.
- Conduct final walkthroughs to verify that all children have been picked up and that the facility is in order.
- Complete closing checklists, including turning off equipment, locking doors, and setting alarms.
- Monitor the premises for any safety concerns or maintenance issues that need attention before leaving.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of common areas during closing procedures.
- Communicate effectively with staff members regarding any incidents or important updates during shift changeover.
- Follow all safety protocols and company policies to ensure a secure environment for children and staff members.
Experience
- Prior experience in childcare, daycare operations, or similar roles is preferred but not required.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision during closing procedures.
- Reliable, punctual, and trustworthy with a commitment to safety and security standards.
- Good communication skills to coordinate effectively with team members during shift transitions.
