Child, Youth and Family Outpatient Team
Program Overview:
The Child, Youth, and Family Outpatient Team provides therapeutic services to children, adolescents, and families experiencing a range of mental health concerns, including mood disorders, anxiety, trauma, psychosis, and co-occurring substance use. This internship offers hands-on experience in community-based behavioral health, with weekly clinical supervision provided by a licensed clinician.
Responsibilities and Learning Opportunities:

Conduct intake assessments and assist in developing developmentally appropriate treatment plans.

Co-facilitate individual and group therapy sessions under supervision.

Document clinical services and progress notes in the electronic health record (EHR).

Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings and clinical case reviews.

Gain exposure to evidence-based and family-centered practices within outpatient care.
