Assistant Toddler Teacher – Full-Time
Bright Marvels Early Learning Academy is looking for an energetic, dependable, and caring Assistant Toddler Teacher to join our team!

We’re looking for someone who genuinely loves working with young children and brings positive energy into the classroom each day. Our ideal candidate is bubbly, engaging, patient, nurturing, and ready to jump into all the fun and activity that comes with a toddler classroom!
Reliability is extremely important to us. We’re looking for someone who is punctual, dependable, consistent, and enjoys being part of a collaborative teaching team.
Position Details
- Full-Time
- Monday–Friday
- 8:30 AM–5:30 PM
- $16.50–$18.50 per hour, based on education and relevant experience
What You’ll Do
- Support the Lead Teacher with daily routines, activities, and transitions
- Actively engage with children through play, songs, stories, sensory activities, and hands-on learning experiences
- Support children’s social-emotional growth and development
- Assist with diapering, toileting, meals, and nap routines
- Maintain active supervision and ensure the health and safety of all children
- Help keep the classroom clean, organized, and welcoming
- Build positive relationships with children, families, and coworkers
- Follow all Bright Marvels policies and NYC Department of Health requirements
Requirements
- Minimum of 3 years of professional experience working in a licensed daycare or childcare center is required
- Babysitting and nannying experience alone does not meet the experience requirement for this position
- Must be willing to complete a background check and all required NYC Department of Health compliance items, trainings, clearances, and documentation
