Job Summary
We are seeking a dynamic and talented Cosmetologist to join our vibrant beauty team of 43 years! Duties
- Perform a variety of beauty treatments including hair styling, hair extensions, hair threading, pedicures, manicures, acrylic,gel chemical peels, dermabrasion, and esthetic laser treatments to meet client needs.
- Provide advanced aesthetic treatments including body waxing, facial treatments, deep tissue massage, and skin rejuvenation procedures.
- Conduct consultations to understand client goals, recommend suitable services, and communicate treatment plans effectively.
- Manage client appointment
- Engage in retail sales by demonstrating products during demos, upselling skincare lines, and educating clients on product benefits.
- Maintain high standards of sanitation and hygiene in accordance with industry regulations; ensure all tools and treatment areas are properly sterilized.
- Manage front desk responsibilities including greeting guests, answering inquiries via social media management tools, and handling guest services with professionalism.
- Stay current on industry trends by participating in ongoing education related to esthetic laser treatments, tattooing techniques, color theory, and new cosmetology practices.
Requirements
- Valid cosmetology license or equivalent certification; additional certifications in medical aesthetics or nursing are a plus.
- Proven experience working in the beauty industry with a strong portfolio of services such as makeup application, eyelash extensions, nail care, and barbering.
- Knowledge of salon management
- Excellent communication skills to effectively consult clients and promote services confidently.
- Strong customer service orientation with the ability to build lasting client relationships through personalized care.
- Ability to work flexible hours including evenings and weekends to accommodate client schedules.
- Knowledge of sanitation standards specific to medical spa environments; commitment to maintaining a safe workspace.
- Passion for continuous learning about new beauty techniques such as chemical peels, dermabrasion, tattooing, and body waxing procedures.

Pay: $23.79 - $50.00 per hour
