Position Summary
This role position provides Mental Health Prevention and Promotion services across Baker County.
The position supports community-wide prevention efforts funded through Oregon Health Authority (OHA) grants.
The role requires strong collaboration with schools, providers, and community partners, as well as strict adherence to documentation, grant reporting, and regulatory standards.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
I. Mental Health Prevention Coordinator
A. Prevention & Promotion Programming
Coordinates and participates in community education events, workshops, and trainings (e.g., suicide prevention, mental wellness, stigma reduction).
B. Community Collaboration & Coalition Participation
Collaborates with schools, public health, community organizations, and local partners to promote mental health and prevention strategies.
C. Grant Administration & Reporting
III. Professional Conduct & Teamwork
Maintains professional, respectful, and collaborative communication with clients, families, schools, community partners, and internal teams.
IV. Attendance & BOLI Compliance
Required Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Behavioral Health, Psychology, Social Work, Education, or related field (Master's degree preferred).
