POSITION TITLE: Substitute Teacher

IMMEDIATE SUPERVISOR: Building Principal or Designee

QUALIFICATIONS:
1. Applicants must hold a Bachelor’s Degree or higher from a regionally accredited
institution of higher education or a paraprofessional license with a bachelor’s
degree on-file with the Illinois State Board of Education (ISBE), or hold an
Associate’s Degree or higher from a regionally accredited institution of higher
education or show completion of 60 semester hours of coursework.
SUBSTITUTE PAY INFORMATION:
➢ Starting rate: $150/day
➢ Daily rate after 20 consecutive days in the same position: Salary schedule for
2025-2026 (Appendix A-5) – Column 1/Cell 1 ($270,28/day).
➢ Bonus payment (if 90 days are served in a school year): $300
