Job Summary
Crossroads Women's Health is a growing and independent OB/GYN practice located in Heath, Texas. We are looking for an experienced OB/GYN Sonographer to join our team as a 1099 Independent Contractor. This position will be 2 days a week and offers a guaranteed daily minimum pay with additional earning potential on busy clinic days, providing both income stability and opportunities for increased compensation. Responsibilities
- Perform high-quality obstetric and gynecological ultrasounds.
- Operate and maintain ultrasound equipment with precision, ensuring optimal image quality while adhering to aseptic techniques and safety protocols.
- Accurately document findings within Electronic Medical Records (EMR) or Electronic Health Records (EHR) systems.
- Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare professionals to interpret ultrasound results and assist in diagnostic decision-making processes.
- Educate patients about procedures, address concerns empathetically, and ensure a comfortable experience during examinations.
- Maintain detailed records of all procedures performed, ensuring compliance with healthcare regulations and standards.
Requirements
- ARDMS Registered (OB/GYN)
- Proven experience in women's health ultrasound imaging, including OB/GYN diagnostics such as gynecological ultrasound and prenatal ultrasound.
- Proficiency in operating medical imaging equipment.
- Strong knowledge of anatomy, physiology related to women's reproductive health, and medical terminology relevant to sonography.
- Excellent communication skills to effectively interact with patients and healthcare team members.
- Ability to work independently
