We are seeking an experienced, reliable full-time housekeeper for a private home on the Upper East Side, with summers in the Hamptons. This is a long-term position in a respectful, family-oriented household.
Schedule: Flexible full-time (approx. 12pm–7pm) with some evening flexibility for dog walks and occasional hosting
Summer: Live-in required in the Hamptons with increased weekend availability during that period
Responsibilities:
- Daily housekeeping and deep cleaning
- Laundry, ironing, and organization
- Keeping home consistently well-maintained
- Light cooking / meal prep as needed
- Occasional help with entertaining and family gatherings
- Full care of friendly family dog (feeding, walks, daily care, evening walks)
- Maintaining a warm, organized, well-run home
About the home:
During the year, it is a quiet household (2 adults and a dog). Summers and select weekends are more active with family and guests in the Hamptons.
Must have:
- Prior experience in private homes (NYC strongly preferred)
- Excellent references
- Strong attention to detail and reliability
- Comfortable with dogs and daily pet care
- Flexible schedule and willingness to assist during occasional busy evenings/weekends
Salary commensurate with experience.
Pay: $24.28 - $40.00 per hour
