Overview:
We are seeking a skilled Maintenance Mechanic to join our team. The ideal candidate will have expertise in pipe welding, troubleshooting, repairs, preventative maintenance, and new installations of chemical processing equipment.
Responsibilities:
- Preparation and welding of 1” to 8” carbon and stainless-steel pipe
- Conduct routine maintenance on machinery and equipment to prevent breakdowns
- Diagnose mechanical issues and perform necessary repairs
- Communication with area production operators/supervision daily
- Adhere to safety policies and maintain a clean working environment
- Maintain skills needed to successfully complete job requirements
- Perform preventative maintenance and inspections on mechanical equipment
- Maintain accurate records of maintenance and repair activities
Knowledge, Skills & Abilities
- 6G pipe welding certificate required
- Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills
- Basic computer skills
- Problem Solving, organizational, communication and teamwork skills
- Knowledge of safety practices and procedures in a plant environment
- SMAW and GTAW skills on carbon and stainless steel preferred
- Rigging and crane experience preferred
- Willingness to work flexible hours including weekends and holidays as needed
- Excellent teamwork and communication skills
