Job Summary
We are looking for a reliable, detail-oriented Ecommerce Operations Assistant to help oversee our online orders, returns, packing, and customer order flow for our Jewelry Business.
This role is perfect for someone who is organized, trustworthy, good with details, and comfortable working with online orders and customer communication. You’ll help make sure every customer has a smooth experience from the moment they place an order to the moment their package is delivered.
Responsibilities include:
- Packing and preparing online jewelry orders with care and accuracy
- Printing shipping labels and keeping track of outgoing orders
- Checking order details, customer notes, addresses, and product information before shipping
- Helping manage online returns and exchanges
- Communicating with customers about returns, order updates, tracking, and basic questions
- Keeping return requests organized and making sure each one is handled properly
- Updating order statuses and keeping records accurate
- Helping track order issues, returns, and customer feedback
- Working with the team to make sure inventory, packing supplies, and order flow stay organized
- Assisting with customer service emails/messages as needed
Skills
- Very organized and detail-oriented
- Trustworthy and responsible, especially when handling fine jewelry
- Comfortable using a computer, email, and online order systems
- Good at communicating professionally with customers
- Able to multitask without getting overwhelmed
- Reliable and punctual
- Willing to learn our return policy, packing process, and order system
- Bilingual in English and Spanish is a plus
- Shopify or ecommerce experience is a plus, but not required
- Previous Jewelry experience is a plus!
