We are looking for a talented Sales and Customer Experience Lead to join our team! We're a busy grooming and retail shop in the pet industry and have been voted #1 Best Pet Grooming Salon in the Best of the Pines competition in Southern Pines for the past 7 years. We have a wonderful team and client base!
Applicants must be able to perform in a fast-paced and detailed environment. Preference is given to applicants 1 or more years of experience in the pet industry, but we will consider all applicants that are dependable, detail-oriented, and energetic. Our shop is a franchise but is owned by a family who runs it like a small business boutique. We also employ Groomers, Bathers, Preppers, and Front Desk Associates.
This person will take on the following role that utilizes these traits:
Communication Skills
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills for customer interaction
- Facilitate communication between the Sales Lead and the Operations Manager
Technical Skills
- Work with web based POS
- Skill in analyzing performance data to establish trends and areas for improvement
- Proficiency in a variety of social media platforms
Problem-Solving skills
- Be able to resolve customer issues and provide solutions
- Lead the front team
Sales Expertise
- Identify customer needs
- Educate customers
- Present product benefits
- Pitch and close membership sales
- Create ad campaigns based on analytics to target areas for improvement
Leadership
- Guide, develop, and support the front desk team
- Follow and implement processes and procedures
- Train new sales team members
Compensation
- $20 hourly wage
- Monthly bonus based on objective performance matrix
- 80 hours PTO per year
- 401k with match after 180 days employment (Details provided upon employment)
Requirements
- Full time position (40 hours per week)
- 1-2 years of sales and marketing experience
- Front facing with customers and other businesses
