About the Role
Demidchik Law Firm is seeking an experienced California licensed senior civil litigation attorney for its City of Industry office. The firm has substantial litigation volume available and is looking for an attorney who can independently manage cases, draft strong litigation work product, and move matters efficiently.
The firm has substantial litigation volume available and is looking for an attorney who wants meaningful case responsibility, strong compensation potential, and the opportunity to handle a high volume of quality legal work without needing to originate their own book of business.
This is a strong fit for a litigation attorney who is experienced, responsive, detail-oriented, and comfortable taking ownership of cases from initial assessment through resolution.
Responsibilities
- Manage civil litigation matters from initial case assessment through resolution
- Draft pleadings, motions, discovery requests and responses, meet-and-confer letters, settlement communications, and other litigation documents
- Develop case strategy and advise on litigation posture
- Handle discovery, depositions, mediations, hearings, and court appearances as needed
- Communicate professionally with clients, opposing counsel, experts, court staff, and internal team members
- Track and manage litigation deadlines
- Move cases efficiently while maintaining high-quality legal work
Qualifications
- Active California Bar license in good standing
- 7+ years of civil litigation experience required; 10+ years preferred
- Strong legal writing, research, motion practice, and case strategy skills
- Experience handling discovery, depositions, mediations, and court appearances
- Ability to independently manage litigation matters with limited supervision
- Strong judgment, responsiveness, organization, and attention to detail
Compensation
Compensation is expected to range from $200,000 to $400,000 per year, depending on experience, productivity, and case volume.
The firm has substantial litigation work available. Attorneys who are efficient, responsive, and capable of handling a meaningful volume of billable work will have the opportunity to earn at the higher end of the compensation range.
