Overview
We are looking for an individual that is looking for part time hours in the Greenville area. Someone that is responsible, willing to work and can be on time.
Client has occasional seizures and is almost completely blind! MALE CLIENT
M-F morning or afternoon 4hrs a day
Responsibilities
- Assist client with daily living activities, including personal hygiene, grooming, and dressing
- Help guide him to the bathroom
- Engage clients in social activities to promote mental well-being and companionship.
- Maintain a clean and safe environment for clients by adhering to health and safety protocols.
- Document client progress and report any changes in health or behavior to the appropriate personnel.
- Collaborate with healthcare professionals, family members, and social workers to create a comprehensive care plan tailored to each client’s needs
- Help with GI issues, help clean him up and monitor
Requirements
- Previous experience in nursing homes, in-homecare, caregiving, social work, or memory care is preferred.
- Knowledge of medication administration protocols and ability to monitor vital signs is essential.
- Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to build rapport with clients and their families.
- Compassionate nature with a genuine desire to help others improve their quality of life.
- Ability to perform meal preparation and understand dietary restrictions as needed.
- Familiarity with dementia care practices is a plus.
