Registered Nurse Supervisor
We are seeking a compassionate and experienced Registered Nurse Supervisor to join our team at Studebaker Healthcare Center in Norwalk, California, USA. As a leader in our healthcare community, our 98-bed SNF is dedicated to providing exceptional quality clinical care to our residents, and we are looking for a skilled professional to help us achieve this mission.
About the Role:
As a Registered Nurse Supervisor, you will be responsible for overseeing our nursing team and ensuring that our residents receive the highest level of care. You will work closely with our medical director, nursing staff, and other healthcare professionals to develop and implement individualized care plans, monitor patient progress, and make informed decisions that promote resident well-being.
Responsibilities:
- Lead and Manage: Supervise and guide a team of skilled nursing professionals to deliver high-quality patient care.
- Clinical Excellence: Evaluate patient care needs and develop individualized care plans in collaboration with the interdisciplinary team.
- Coordination: Communicate with physicians, families, and other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless transitions and effective care coordination.
- Quality Improvement: Identify opportunities for improvement and implement measures to enhance patient outcomes and staff performance.
- Regulatory Compliance: Ensure adherence to regulatory standards, policies, and procedures, and maintain accurate records and reports.
Requirements:
Education: Bachelor's degree in Nursing or related field
Licensure: Current RN licensure in the state of California
Experience: Minimum 1 year of experience as a RN Supervisor or similar leadership role
Skills: Strong clinical and organizational skills, excellent communication and interpersonal skills, and proficiency in electronic medical records
