Responsibilities
- Lead an Early Intervention Toddler Developmental Group on a full-time basis
- Support toddlers with communication, social-emotional, sensory, and motor development needs
- Plan and deliver developmentally appropriate special education instruction and activities
- Collaborate with a team of special education professionals to support student progress
- Maintain a positive, structured, and supportive classroom environment for young learners
Qualifications
- New York State Certification in Special Education or Students with Disabilities, Birth–Grade 2
- New York State Certification in Teacher of Students with Speech and Language Disabilities, TSSLD
- New York State License in Social Work
- At least 1 year of teaching experience preferred
- At least 1 year of special education experience preferred
- Strong knowledge of child development
- Dedicated, enthusiastic, and experienced in working with early intervention populations
