Duties
- Engage with potential clients through outside sales efforts, including community outreach, networking events, and telemarketing campaigns to generate leads and expand our customer base.
- Conduct thorough needs analysis by listening actively to clients’ financial situations and insurance requirements to recommend appropriate coverage options.
- Negotiate policy terms and premiums confidently, ensuring mutual satisfaction while adhering to company guidelines and regulatory standards.
- Manage sales administration tasks such as processing applications, updating client records, and maintaining accurate documentation in CRM systems.
- Provide exceptional customer service by addressing client inquiries promptly, explaining policy details clearly, and assisting with benefits administration when needed.
- Stay informed about industry trends, new insurance products, and regulatory changes like HIPAA compliance to deliver accurate advice and maintain compliance standards.
- Collaborate with marketing teams to develop outreach strategies that promote insurance products effectively across various channels.
Requirements
- Valid state license as a Certified Insurance Producer with active authority to sell insurance policies.
- Proven experience in outside sales, retail sales, or telemarketing within the insurance or financial services industry.
- Strong negotiation skills coupled with excellent communication abilities to build trust and close deals effectively.
- Multilingual or bilingual capabilities are highly desirable to serve diverse client populations better.
- Demonstrated analysis skills for assessing client needs and tailoring insurance solutions accordingly.
- Familiarity with sales administration processes, benefits administration, and customer service best practices.
- Knowledge of HIPAA regulations relevant to health insurance products is preferred but not mandatory.
