Supervise and lead all bakery employees
Create employee schedules and manage coverage
Train new employees and provide ongoing coaching
Ensure employees follow company policies and procedures
Oversee daily bakery operations
Make sure products are prepared, displayed, and stocked properly
Maintain consistent product quality and freshness
Monitor inventory and order ingredients and supplies
Minimize waste and control food costs
Handle customer service and resolve customer concerns
Manage special orders, cakes, pies, and other customer requests
Ensure proper food safety, sanitation, and cleanliness
Make sure equipment is cleaned and maintained
Monitor sales and help meet daily/weekly sales goals
Open and/or close the bakery as needed
Handle cash, deposits, and daily paperwork as assigned
Communicate with owners and employees regarding daily operations
Hold employees accountable for completing assigned duties
Maintain a positive, professional, and respectful workplace
Step in and assist with baking, decorating, packaging, stocking, or serving customers when needed
A manager’s overall responsibility is to **make sure the bakery runs smoothly, the employees are doing their jobs, customers are taken care of, and the products meet the bakery’s quality standards.**
Pay: $12.00 - $18.00 per hour
