About the role:
This job is a field and office hybrid. The Field QA/QC Tech will be responsible for implementing company’s Mission Critical HVAC Control QAQC plan, under supervision of the QAQC manager. This includes office-based analytical and reporting work, as well as traveling to any job site, within North Dakota, to perform conformance checks and support.
Key Responsibilities:

Review DDC/PLC drawings for compliance with scope and sequence of operations

Assist in development and standardization of documentation aligned with ISO 9001

Support implementation of standardized file systems and quality processes

Facilitate QA/QC coordination across departments

Evaluate job sites for compliance with quality standards

Act as company representative with customer and contractor quality teams

Support commissioning, TAB activities, and project milestones

Ensure field teams are prepared for inspections and project delivery requirements

Required to work daily at the office in Irving when not traveling.
Qualifications:
-
3+ years of experience in QA/QC or related roles
-
3+ years of experience working with ISO 9001 standards

Strong attention to detail and analytical skills

Proficiency with Microsoft Excel and Word

Ability to work independently in field and office environments

HVAC automation experience preferred

BIM software experience preferred
Physical Requirements:

This role requires frequent travel by plane or car to job sites, up to 50% of the time.

Ability to stand, walk, and move throughout job sites for extended periods

Ability to climb ladders, stairs and lifts as required

Ability to bend, kneel, crouch, and work in tight or confined spaces

Ability to lift, carry, and maneuver equipment and materials up to 50 pounds

Manual dexterity to handle tools, wiring, and small components

Ability to work at heights and in varying indoor and outdoor conditions

Visual keenness to read schematics, labels, and digital displays

Ability to hear and respond to alarms, equipment sounds, and verbal instructions

Capability to safely operate hand and power tools
