American Traveler is hiring a travel RN for an ICU position at a large Level I Trauma Academic Medical Center, requiring a minimum of 2 years of ICU experience and current ACLS and BLS certifications.

Short-term acute care hospital setting with 1,567 staffed beds
-
Level I Trauma Center and academic medical center
-
ICU unit with an average patient ratio of 1:3 on days, nights, and weekends
-
Night shift schedule: 3x12-hour shifts (19:00–07:00)

Every other weekend (EOW) coverage required
-
Floating required to PCU, other ICUs, and the SRC campus as needed
-
No on-call responsibilities

Charting via Epic
-
13-week contract
-
Active CT or compact RN license required
-
Current BLS and ACLS certifications required

Minimum 2 years of ICU experience required

Prior trauma center experience at a large facility required
-
Clean nursing license with no prior disciplinary actions

1 professional reference required for consideration

First-time travelers are welcome to apply

Candidates must reside more than 75 miles from the facility to be eligible for this position

Former permanent staff of this facility must have been separated for at least 2 years before being considered as a traveler

Up to 7 days of RTO may be auto-approved by the facility

Flu vaccine is required; declinations are not accepted
