Position Overview
This is not your typical front desk role. As the first and last impression of our gym, you will play a vital role in shaping each member’s experience. We are looking for someone who is personable, professional, and genuinely passionate about fitness - someone members look forward to seeing every day.
Key Responsibilities
- Greet members and guests with warmth, professionalism, and enthusiasm
- Deliver exceptional customer service and build strong member relationships
- Provide tours of the facility and confidently explain membership options
- Maintain a clean, organized, and high-end environment throughout the gym
- Assist with daily operations, including:
- Re-racking weights and organizing equipment
- Support class setup and breakdown, including lifting and moving equipment
- Monitor gym activity to ensure a respectful, adult-only environment
- Communicate clearly and effectively with team members and management
- Cleaning bathrooms and common areas
- Vacuuming and mopping floors
Qualifications
- Previous experience in a customer-facing role (fitness industry preferred)
- Strong interpersonal skills - friendly, approachable, and well-liked
- Reliable, punctual, and respectful with a strong work ethic
- Passion for fitness and a solid understanding of gym equipment and workouts
- Sales experience is a plus (comfortable discussing memberships and pricing)
- Ability to lift at least 45 lbs and assist with physical tasks
- Ability to maintain professionalism in a fast-paced, social environment
