American Traveler is seeking a travel RN for a Med/Surg Telemetry night shift position in Knoxville, TN, requiring at least 1 year of recent tele/stepdown experience and a valid TN or compact RN license.

Med/Surg Telemetry unit in a hospital setting with 31 beds

Night shift schedule: 7:00 PM – 7:00 AM

Every other weekend required

Patient ratio of 1:4 to 1:5

Total patient care model

Floating to Med/Surg required

No block scheduling

No on-call responsibilities

Charting in Cerner EMR
-
13-week contract

Active RN license — TN or compact license required

Current BLS and ACLS certifications required (all ACLS modules must be completed)

No certifications expiring within the first 30 days of the assignment start

Minimum 1 year of recent experience in telemetry or stepdown nursing

Valid U.S. driver's license required

Candidates must reside more than 50 miles from the facility to be eligible

Royal blue scrubs required; artificial nails are not permitted

Candidates must not have worked at any CHS facility as permanent staff within the past 2 years
-
No gaps in work history of 90 days or more within the past 12 months

RTO requests must be less than one week in duration

RTO must be disclosed at time of consideration
