Phoenix Benefits LLC is hiring licensed Health Insurance Agents to help consumers enroll in Health Insurance Marketplace plans.
This is a remote 1099 independent contractor opportunity. Agents work with consumers who are actively seeking Marketplace coverage, explain available plan options, and complete enrollments while following CMS and Marketplace guidelines.
Whether you're an experienced ACA agent or newly licensed and FFM certified, we provide the support and training needed to help you succeed.
Responsibilities
- Assist consumers with Health Insurance Marketplace enrollments.
- Explain plan options, premiums, deductibles, provider networks, and benefits.
- Complete Marketplace applications accurately and efficiently.
- Maintain required documentation.
- Follow all CMS and Health Insurance Marketplace compliance requirements.
- Deliver professional customer service throughout the enrollment process.
- Stay up to date on Marketplace guidelines and carrier updates.
- Meet daily production and quality expectations.
Qualifications
- Active 2-15 or 2-40 Health Insurance License required.
- FFM Certification preferred.
- ACA Marketplace experience preferred but not required.
- Strong communication and customer service skills.
- Comfortable speaking with consumers by phone.
- Self-motivated and able to work independently in a remote environment.
- Reliable computer and high-speed internet connection.
Compensation
This is a 1099 independent contractor position with weekly pay.
Compensation is based on your daily production and hours worked.
- $20 per enrolled member if you complete fewer than 12 enrollments in a day and work fewer than 7 hours that day.
- $25 per enrolled member if you complete 12 or more enrollments in a day or work 7 or more hours that day.

- Typical hours: 10:00 AM – 7:00 PM EST

Pay: $1,500.00 - $3,000.00 per week
