Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated Youth Counselor to join our residential treatment team in a group home program. As a Youth Counselor, you will be responsible for providing behavioral health support and supervision to adolescent girls.
The schedule is Saturday 10 pm to 10 am, Sunday 10 pm to 10 am, Monday 10 pm to 10 am.
Responsibilities
- Provide supervision to the residents to ensure health and safety
- Dispense medication as needed
- Maintain thorough and accurate documentation
- Maintains a neat, clean and orderly household
- Participate in breakfast preparation
Qualifications
- BA in related field (social work, psychology) or
- BA in unrelated field with 6 months experience with children in a group setting or
- HS diploma and at least 12 months experience with children in a group setting
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment
- Valid New Jersey driver's license
