Position Summary
LaserCraft Technologies is seeking a dependable and detail-oriented Robot Welder to join our Welding Department. In this role, you'll set up, operate, and program robotic welding equipment to manufacture high-quality metal components while maintaining production standards and following all safety procedures.

Responsibilities
- Set up robotic welding equipment by mounting and aligning fixtures and attachments
- Create and modify robot welding programs to meet production requirements
- Load and unload metal parts into robotic welding stations
- Inspect finished welds through visual and dimensional checks
- Troubleshoot welding, robotic, or part quality issues
- Perform routine cleaning and basic maintenance on robotic welding equipment
- Follow all company safety procedures and wear required PPE
- Maintain quality and production standards throughout the shift
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED preferred
- Six months of manufacturing or welding experience preferred (or equivalent combination of education and experience)
- Basic understanding of MIG and/or TIG welding principles
- Ability to read blueprints and technical drawings
- Experience programming robotic welding equipment is preferred
- Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills
- Attention to detail and commitment to quality
- Basic computer skills
Physical Requirements
- Lift up to 40 pounds
- Frequently stand, walk, bend, stoop, kneel, and reach
- Push and pull materials weighing up to 40 pounds
- Work in a manufacturing environment that is not climate controlled
- Ability to work in varying workstations as production needs require
- Comfortable working in a manufacturing environment where noise levels can be high
