Responsibilities
- Prepare a variety of sandwiches and food items efficiently while adhering to food safety standards and sanitation protocols
- Operate POS systems such as Aloha POS and Micros POS to process retail sales transactions accurately and swiftly
- Assist customers at the counter by taking orders, answering questions, and upselling menu items to enhance their experience
- Maintain cleanliness in the kitchen, dining area, and food prep stations, including bussing tables and cleaning equipment
- Manage cash handling responsibilities with accuracy, including cash register operations and balancing cash drawers at shift end
- Support food safety management by following proper food handling procedures and sanitation practices throughout your shift
- Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth service flow during busy periods while demonstrating excellent customer service skills
Qualifications
- Previous food preparation or food service experience in quick service or fast-food restaurants is highly preferred
- Familiarity with POS systems such as Aloha POS, Micros POS, or similar platforms for retail transactions
- Strong time management skills to prioritize tasks efficiently during high-volume periods
- Ability to perform basic math calculations accurately for cash handling and retail math requirements
- Experience in cashiering, serving, or retail sales transactions is advantageous
- Knowledge of food safety regulations, sanitation standards, and proper food handling techniques
- Excellent customer service skills with a friendly, energetic attitude that promotes a positive dining environment
