Responsibilities
- Prepare food items according to established recipes and quality standards, ensuring quick turnaround times.
- Operate POS system for order entry, payment processing, and cash handling with accuracy.
- Provide excellent customer service by taking orders, answering questions about menu items, and upselling where appropriate.
- Maintain cleanliness and sanitation in food prep areas, dining spaces, and behind the counter following food safety guidelines.
- Assist with food handling duties such as bussing tables, restocking supplies, and managing food storage.
- Support team members during busy shifts by managing tasks efficiently and communicating clearly.
- Handle cash transactions accurately while providing friendly service to every guest.
Experience
- Previous experience in quick service or fast food restaurants is a plus but not required—training will be provided!
- Familiarity with food industry standards including food safety, sanitation, and proper food handling practices.
- Basic math skills for cash handling, retail math, and order calculations.
- Experience with POS system is beneficial but not mandatory—training will be available.
- Strong time management skills to prioritize tasks during busy shifts.
- Customer service background or retail experience helps in creating a welcoming environment for guests.
- Knowledge of food preparation techniques and kitchen operations is helpful but eager learners are welcome!
