Job Summary
We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Machine Operator / Assembler / Powder Fabricators to join our dynamic manufacturing team on both 1st and 2nd shifts. In this role, you will be responsible for operating a variety of fabrication and machining equipment, assembling components, and ensuring the highest quality standards are met throughout the production process. Your expertise will contribute to creating precision metal parts and assemblies used across diverse industries. Responsibilities
- Operate CNC laser cutting machines, CNC milling machines, CNC lathes, plasma cutters, press brakes, stamping presses, and other fabrication equipment with precision and safety.
- Set up machining tools and fabrication equipment according to technical drawings and specifications.
- Interpret mechanical blueprints, technical drawings, and shop math to accurately produce parts and assemblies.
- Perform measurement and inspection using calipers, micrometers, dial indicators, and other precision measuring instruments to ensure parts meet quality standards.
- Assemble components using hand tools, welding techniques, forming machines, and tooling to complete finished products.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area while adhering strictly to safety protocols in all operations.
- Conduct quality inspections throughout the manufacturing process to identify defects or deviations from specifications.
- Operate forklifts or cranes as needed for material handling within the production area.
- Follow safety standards in production environments, including proper use of personal protective equipment (PPE).
Experience
- Previous experience operating CNC machinery such as laser cutters, mills, lathes, or plasma cutters is highly preferred.
- Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to interpret technical drawings and blueprints accurately.
- Familiarity with machining tools including calipers, micrometers, hand tools, and measurement instruments for quality control purposes.
- Knowledge of metal fabrication processes such as forming, welding, stamping, and sheet metal work.
- Understanding of safety standards related to machine operation and manufacturing environments.
- Experience with tooling setup and adjustment on various fabrication equipment is advantageous.
- Ability to work efficiently on both 1st and 2nd shifts in a fast-paced production setting while maintaining high-quality output.
