Job Summary

Responsibilities
- Install, inspect, troubleshoot, and repair electrical systems including high-voltage and low-voltage wiring on commercial and industrial sites.
- Read and interpret electrical blueprints, schematics, and technical diagrams to accurately execute projects.
- Utilize hand tools, power tools, multimeters such as ohmmeters, and other diagnostic equipment to identify electrical issues swiftly.
- Ensure all work complies with local electrical codes, NFPA 70 (National Electrical Code), NEC standards, and electrical safety procedures.
- Perform high-voltage electrical wiring tasks safely while adhering to strict safety protocols.
- Diagnose electrical system faults using advanced diagnostics techniques to minimize downtime.
- Collaborate with construction teams during renovation or new construction projects to ensure seamless integration of electrical systems.
- Maintain detailed documentation of work performed, including inspections, repairs, and compliance records.
- Conduct routine maintenance checks and emergency repairs to uphold system reliability.
- Stay current with industry best practices related to programmable logic controllers (PLCs), schematics reading, and NFPA 70 compliance requirements.
Experience
- Proven experience as an industrial electrician or commercial electrician with a strong background in electrical diagnostics and troubleshooting.
- Hands-on experience working on construction sites or renovation projects involving electrical systems installation or repair.
- Familiarity with high-voltage (HV) and low-voltage electrical wiring techniques across various environments.
- Proficiency in reading blueprints, schematics, and technical diagrams for complex electrical systems.
- Knowledge of NFPA 70 (National Electrical Code) standards for safe electrical installations.
- Experience working with programmable logic controllers (PLCs) is highly desirable.
- Ability to operate hand tools, power tools, multimeters (including ohmmeters), and other diagnostic equipment effectively.
- Strong understanding of local electrical codes combined with a commitment to electrical safety procedures.
- Previous handyman or frame carpentry experience is a plus for versatile project support.
