Job Summary
We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented DO-178C Compliance Engineer to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess extensive knowledge of the DO-178C standard and demonstrate expertise in software development, quality assurance, and compliance auditing. This role involves ensuring that all software development activities adhere to DO-178C requirements and supporting certification audits.
Key Responsibilities
· Ensure adherence to DO-178C standards throughout the software development lifecycle.
· Participate in planning, development, and implementation of DO-178C compliant processes.
· Conduct internal audits and support SOI (Stage of Involvement) audit certification activities.
· Collaborate with cross-functional teams including software developers, system engineers, and project managers.
· Oversee and contribute to all phases of the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC), including requirements analysis, design, coding, testing, and maintenance.
· Establish and maintain quality assurance processes, including quality plans, audits, reviews, and inspections.
· Manage configuration control processes, including version control and baselining of software and hardware configurations.
· Lead software verification and validation activities, including test planning, test case design, execution, and analysis.
· Implement and manage change control processes, including impact assessments and configuration updates.
· Document quality-related activities and maintain comprehensive project documentation in compliance with DO-178C guidelines.
· Utilize problem reporting and tracking tools to manage software defects and non-conformances.
Qualifications and Skills
· Strong knowledge of DO-178C standards and compliance requirements.
· Proven experience in software development and the software development life cycle.
· Expertise in quality assurance processes and methodologies.
· Experience with configuration management tools and practices.
· Proficiency in software verification and validation techniques.
· Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
· Excellent communication and collaboration abilities.
· Experience with documentation and reporting in compliance with industry standards.
· Familiarity with problem reporting and tracking systems.
Pay and Benefits
Pay Range Minimum: $ 83000 per year
Pay Range Maximum: $128000 per Year

A candidate’s pay within the range will depend on their skills, experience, education, and other factors permitted by law.
