We're hiring 2x Telecom Project Manager/Specialists to support a State of Louisiana voice services modernization initiative — remote-based out of Baton Rouge, LA, with onsite availability as needed.
This is a long-term contract opportunity (~3 years) supporting a major statewide AT&T Legacy Services Conversion (Copper-to-Cloud) initiative migrating ~13,000 copper services to VoIP/LTE.
REQUIRED FOR BOTH ROLES:
-Must reside in the Baton Rouge, LA metro area (remote-primary, onsite as needed)
-15+ years of telecommunications technology experience
-Direct experience delivering telecom services to state/local government clients
-Deep knowledge of Centrex and AT&T service offerings (infrastructure, features, billing)
-Proven financial/billing audit experience (invoice reconciliation, error ID, cost savings)
-Extensive VoIP implementation experience, including network infrastructure
-Strong project management workflow background
-Fluent English (verbal and written)
— ROLE 1: Voice Service Modernization PM —
Focus: large-scale infrastructure transitions & vendor management
- Lead the AT&T Copper-to-Cloud (C2C) migration project
- Resolve AT&T ordering/provisioning issues
- Manage network/voice ITB, RFP, RFR, RFI contracts
Must-have: expertise structuring and monitoring complex telecom contracts
— ROLE 2: LOS Audits & Project Support PM —
Focus: financial review and specialty project support
- Support C2C project milestones statewide
- Conduct network/voice service and billing audits
- Train staff on billing audit procedures and compliance
- Lead specialty VoIP work including HELD Protocol migrations
Must-have: in-depth knowledge of E911 regulations, best practices, and technologies
