We've spent the last several years investing hard in technology, logistics, and sales operations—building a modern, aggressive, high-performing team. This is not a passive account-management seat. We need someone who makes things happen.
The Role
You'll inherit an active book of customers and be expected to grow it—hard—while hunting down new business through relentless outbound and sharp follow-through. The right person doesn't wait for opportunities; they create them. No account goes cold on your watch, and "no" just means "not yet."
This is for someone with a big personality who wants responsibility, wants to win, and sees themselves becoming the leader of the pack.
- Base Salary: $50,000–$60,000
- OTE: $80,000–$100,000 for high performers
- Top Performer Potential: $150,000+ for superstars who build a strong book over time (realistically year 3–4 and beyond)
- Structure: Base + uncapped commission
- Location: Remote
Responsibilities
- Own, grow, and defend a portfolio of garden center and plant buyer accounts
- Drive consistent, aggressive outbound activity—calls, follow-ups, check-ins
- Turn objections into orders; find every opening to increase order frequency and order size
- Build new relationships with buyers and retailers, and deepen the ones you inherit
- Educate customers on plant availability, logistics, and buying programs
- Use internal systems to track activity, opportunities, and performance
- Own your revenue and account health like the business depends on it—because it does

- Interest in plants, houseplants, or horticulture (a plus, not required)
Sales or account management experience strongly preferred; B2B is a plus. Plant or horticulture experience helps but isn't required if you can sell and are willing to learn.
