Put your electronics skills to work developing the next generation of industrial automation products.
FACTS Engineering has been designing innovative industrial automation solutions for nearly 40 years. Our products are used by more than 80,000 customers worldwide through our long-standing partnership with AutomationDirect. We've been recognized as a GrowFL Company to Watch, two-time Pasco County Manufacturer of the Year, and a Top Workplace.
We're looking for an Engineering Test Technician to join our Test Engineering team. If you enjoy troubleshooting electronic circuits, working with oscilloscopes and other test equipment, and being part of the product development process, we'd love to hear from you.
Unlike many technician positions, this role is entirely based at our New Port Richey facility—no travel, customer site visits, overnight work, or weekends. You'll work alongside Design Engineers to test and validate new PLC products before they reach customers.

- Perform electrical and functional testing on PLC products and related electronics
- Operate electronic test equipment including oscilloscopes, digital multimeters, and signal generators
- Verify products meet engineering specifications and document test results
- Create and update Engineering Test Reports (ETRs) using Microsoft Word and Excel
- Troubleshoot electronic circuits and evaluate product performance
- Read and interpret electrical schematics
- Develop PLC programs needed to adequately test products
- Collaborate closely with Design Engineers and the Test Engineering team
- Continuously learn new products, systems, and testing processes

- Associate degree in Electronics, Engineering Technology, or a related field (or equivalent experience)
- Solid understanding of basic electronics and Ohm's Law
- Experience troubleshooting electronic equipment
- Experience using digital multimeters and oscilloscopes
- Excellent soldering skills
- Ability to read and understand electronic schematics
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
