Join the dynamic team at JFYbrand – Just For You Boutique as a Retail Sales Associate. This role offers an exciting opportunity to engage with customers, showcase products, create a welcoming shopping environment, and support the flow between our online store and in-store experience.
The ideal candidate is motivated, fashion-forward, detail-oriented, and eager to grow with a small but rapidly expanding boutique. Strong communication skills, excellent customer service, and the ability to multitask are essential. Prior retail experience is needed.
Responsibilities
- Greet customers warmly and provide outstanding customer service
- Assist shoppers in finding products that fit their needs and personal style
- Offer styling suggestions and share product knowledge
- Operate POS systems efficiently for sales, returns, and exchanges
- Pull and prepare online orders for shipping or in-store pickup
- Communicate seamlessly with customers who show screenshots of items or inquire about online products
- Maintain attractive merchandise displays and visual standards
- Stock shelves, manage inventory, and organize back stock
- Handle payments with accuracy and attention to detail
- Provide excellent phone etiquette for customer calls and messaging platforms
- Assist with social media content creation (photos, videos, product highlights)
- Support team members during busy periods or special events
- Participate in opening/closing/weekly procedures
- Perform basic cashiering duties using retail math and accuracy
Requirements
- Prior retail, boutique, or customer-facing experience preferred
- Fashion-forward with an eye for trends
- Motivated, reliable, and eager to grow with our brand
- Strong communication skills
- Familiarity with POS systems and basic retail math
- Ability to upsell while maintaining a positive, authentic customer experience
- Knowledge of merchandising and stock management principles
- Strong interpersonal and phone skills
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment
- Leadership qualities or prior supervisory experience are a plus but not required
- Excellent attention to detail
