As a Pre-K Counts Site Supervisor, you will lead the daily operations of a Pre-K Counts location, ensuring high-quality early learning experiences that meet OCDEL regulations and align with the PA Early Learning Standards. In this role, you’ll guide and support classroom staff, oversee compliance and instructional quality, coordinate screenings and assessments, engage with families and community partners, and help children build the social and academic foundations they need for a successful transition into kindergarten. What You Do:
- Oversee daily operations of the Pre-K Counts site, ensuring full compliance with OCDEL regulations and PA Early Learning Standards.
- Review instructional plans, coordinate classroom and site activities, and support high-quality learning environments.
- Conduct developmental, social-emotional, vision, and hearing screenings; assist families with referrals and follow-up.
- Supervise, coach, and evaluate classroom staff while managing schedules, coverage, and communication.
- Support recruitment and enrollment through outreach, application processing, and community engagement.
- Maintain accurate records, complete reports, and collaborate with families, staff, administrators, and community partners.
What You Bring:
- Bachelor’s degree with Early Childhood Education certification.
- Two years of preschool classroom experience plus one year of supervisory experience.
- Strong organizational and time-management skills with the ability to make independent decisions.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills and strong interpersonal abilities.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with frequent interruptions and changing priorities.
- Ability to meet physical and travel requirements, along with all mandated clearances, a valid driver’s license, insurance, and reliable transportation.
