Join our dynamic healthcare team as a Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP), where you will play a vital role in delivering comprehensive, patient-centered high quality care across a diverse patient population. As an FNP, you will provide primary care, perform diagnostic evaluations, and develop treatment plans that promote health and wellness for individuals of all ages.
Responsibilities
- Conduct thorough physical examinations and patient assessments to determine health status and diagnose conditions.
- Prescribe medications, including controlled substances in compliance with DEA regulations, and manage treatment plans tailored to each patient’s needs.
- Utilize electronic health record (EHR) systems . Our EHR system is Elation Health .
- Collaborate closely with physicians, specialists, and other healthcare professionals to coordinate patient care across primary care, specialty services like gastroenterology or behavioral health, and urgent or emergency settings.
- Engage in patient education on topics such as nutrition, chronic disease management, family planning, and memory or dementia care.
Qualifications
- Valid Family Nurse Practitioner license with current certification from an accredited program.
- Proven experience working in family practice clinics.
- Proficiency with EMR/EHR systems
- Strong knowledge of medical terminology, physiology, anatomy, CPT coding, ICD coding (ICD-9/10), and drug enforcement regulations related to prescribing medications.
- Skilled in patient assessment for pediatric through geriatric populations; familiarity with infant care is advantageous.
- Ability to work collaboratively while demonstrating excellent client communication skills.
- Knowledge of infection control practices and HIPAA regulations to ensure patient privacy and safety.
- Additional expertise in behavioral health, occupational health and infectious disease care is beneficial.

Pay: $55.00 - $70.00 per hour
Expected hours: 20.0 – 30.0 per week
