We are seeking an experienced Out-of-Network (OON) AR Follow-Up Specialist to manage a designated portfolio of accounts. Responsibilities include aggressive follow-up on outstanding OON claims, reprocessing denied claims, and resolving underpayments.
The ideal candidate will:
- Review and analyze EOBs for payment discrepancies
- Appeal underpaid or denied OON claims with proper documentation
- Follow up with insurance carriers via phone and web portals
- Track and document all actions taken on each claim in the billing system
- Work aging reports to ensure timely resolution of outstanding balances
- Meet productivity and quality benchmarks
Experience with commercial plans, UCR negotiations, and OON reimbursement is strongly preferred.
