Overview
We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Machine Shop Hand to join our dynamic manufacturing team. In this vital role, you will support the operation of various industrial equipment and assist with fabrication, assembly, and machining processes. Your hands-on skills and mechanical knowledge will contribute to producing high-quality components efficiently and safely. This position offers an exciting opportunity to develop technical expertise in a fast-paced manufacturing environment while ensuring adherence to safety standards and quality protocols.
Responsibilities
- Operate a variety of shop machinery including magnaflux, cutting torch
- Use precision measurement instruments such as micrometers, calipers, and gauges to ensure dimensional accuracy and compliance
- Assist with setup, calibration, and troubleshooting of industrial equipment
- Handle materials safely using forklifts and other materials handling equipment while maintaining proper warehouse organization.
- Support fabrication tasks including cutting torch, packaging of finished products.
- Follow safety standards rigorously during all operations to maintain a secure work environment for yourself and colleagues.
Qualifications
- Must be 18
- Be proficient in English, reading and writing
