INFORMATION/REQUIREMENTS:
An essential function of this position is the ability to work in person and physically report for work on site.
7.5 hours/day
This position requires a full background investigation conducted by the Security and Crisis Readiness Department.
JOB SUMMARY:
The School Security Training Specialist position will plan, develop, and implement specialized safety, security, and emergency management training programs. This includes providing instruction, while maintaining a training database for all PWCS personnel trained for security certification and crisis management. All training will be accomplished in accordance with PWCS policy, applicable state and/or federal statutes, and local, state, and federal oversight agency requirements. Some travel throughout the county and region is required.
