Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
- Current state licensure or eligibility to obtain
- Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) preferred, CFY candidates considered
- Previous experience in a school-based setting, with preference for middle school experience
- Strong communication and organization skills
- Ability to adapt therapeutic approaches to the needs of diverse learners
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct screenings, assessments, and evaluations to determine students’ speech and language needs
- Develop and implement individualized education programs (IEPs) in accordance with state and federal guidelines
- Deliver direct and consultative speech therapy services to students in a supportive classroom setting
- Collaborate with educators, parents, and multidisciplinary teams to support student progress
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation and progress reports
- Participate in IEP meetings and serve as a resource for communication disorders within the school
