Overview
We are seeking a reliable and motivated Contractor Delivery Driver to join our team. This is a fast paced role with good earning potential. The ideal candidate will be responsible for transporting goods to various locations while ensuring timely and safe delivery. This role requires a strong commitment to customer service and adherence to safety protocols. As a Contractor Delivery Driver, you will play a crucial role in maintaining the efficiency of our operations and ensuring customer satisfaction.
Requirements:
- Provide your own empty minivan
- Possess a smart phone and be comfortable using it
- Ability to arrive to scheduled pickups on time consistently
- Ability to occasionally handle up to 90lb packages.~2-3 a week.

Responsibilities
- Safely operate personal van, to transport goods to designated locations.
- Load and unload items from the vehicle, ensuring proper handling and securing of cargo.
- Follow delivery schedules and routes efficiently while adhering to traffic laws and safety regulations.
- Maintain accurate records of deliveries, including logs of mileage, fuel usage, and any incidents that occur during transport.
- Communicate effectively with dispatchers and customers regarding delivery status and any potential issues.
- Provide excellent customer service by addressing inquiries or concerns during deliveries.
Skills
- Proven experience as a Delivery Driver or in a similar courier role is preferred.
- Ability to operate manual transmission vehicles is a plus.
- Familiarity with commercial driving regulations and safety practices.
- Experience with loading/unloading cargo efficiently and safely.
- Knowledge of warehouse operations is beneficial.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage time effectively.
- Excellent communication skills for interacting with customers and team members.
- Capability to navigate using GPS systems or maps to find the most efficient routes.
