By emphasizing ONE Park, ONE Mission, One Team, the Branch Manager I leads the branch in fostering a member-centric culture focused on delivering an exceptional employee and member experience. This role involves directing, developing, motivating, and coaching branch staff to build strong, lasting relationships with members and provide effective financial guidance. The Branch Manager I monitors branch activities to ensure compliance with policies, supports staff in serving members, and addresses any issues that arise. Additionally, the position is responsible for hiring, training, and evaluating staff performance, representing the branch within the community, and maintaining communications with other departments to achieve organizational goals.

2. To provide friendly, professional and accurate service and support to all members and coworkers.
3. To maintain and develop a qualified staff sufficient to meet the needs of members.
4. To ensure that staff work with a minimum number of documentation/transaction errors and that employees function within the pre-set balancing standard policy.
5. To achieve branch goals as determined by the Management Team.
6. To complete performance reviews within the prescribed time frame.
7. To develop and maintain business partner relationships within the community.
8. To follow all security policies and procedures and report discrepancies or suspicious activity to manager immediately.
9. To maintain a professional work environment, promote teamwork, build respect among coworkers and present a businesslike appearance.
10. To follow the credit union’s Bank Secrecy Act and anti-money laundering policies and procedures, including running OFAC searches, completing investigative reports of suspicious activity and currency transaction reports timely and without error.
Knowledge and Skills:
Experience: Two years to five years of similar or related experience.
Education: (1) A two-year college degree, or (2) completion of a specialized certification or licensing, or (3) completion of specialized training courses conducted by vendors, or (4) job-specific skills acquired through an apprenticeship program.
Interpersonal Skills: Work involves much personal contact with others inside and/or outside the organization for the purpose of first-level conflict resolution, building relationships, and soliciting cooperation. Discussions involve a higher degree of confidentiality and discretion, requiring diplomacy and tact in communication.
Other Skills: Must have good communication skills.
