Position Summary:
The Banquet Server is responsible for providing food and beverage service to guests during banquet events at Rod ‘N’ Reel Resort. This role ensures that guests have a pleasant dining experience by delivering high-quality service and maintaining a clean and organized environment.
Qualifications:

Background in customer service preferred.

Experience in banquets, event management or food and beverage preferred.

Availability during peak operating times: weekends, evenings and holidays required.

Core Responsibilities:

Assist in setting up banquet rooms, including arranging tables, chairs, linens, and table settings.

Serve food and beverages to guests in a timely and professional manner, following event specifications and service standards.

Greet guests, respond to their inquiries, and ensure their needs are met throughout the event.

Monitor tables during the event, refilling drinks, clearing plates, and addressing any guest requests.

Assist in the breakdown and cleanup of the banquet area after the event, ensuring all equipment and areas are left in good condition.

Work closely with other banquet staff and kitchen personnel to ensure smooth service and coordination.

Adhere to all health and safety regulations, as well as company policies and procedures.

Perform other duties as assigned.
Physical Requirements:
Position requires sitting, hand-eye coordination, stooping, kneeling and walking/standing for multiple hours in succession. This position may on occasion require lifting, carrying, pulling, or pushing up to approximately 21-50 pounds.
