Warehouse Worker
This position is responsible for the loading, unloading, receiving, handling and shipping of freight.

Operate safely and in compliance with all established HSSE policies and procedures

Read trailer manifests and BOLs to determine items to be moved, gathered, staged, distributed and/or shipped

Load/unload containers, lift materials, verify and receive POs and BOLs, count and label

Pack and/or ship materials in compliance with DOT, HAZMAT, and Carlile policies and procedures
-
Consolidate boxes and pallets for shipment

Note damaged freight, record on BOL and photograph OS&D using handheld RFID guns

Maintain good housekeeping standards with focus on the care and custody of materials

Prepare and prioritize orders for shipment to include delivery documents

Prioritize and complete day-to-day activities as assigned based on customer needs, as directed by Supervisor

Use forklift and other equipment to carry out essential duties

Interact with drivers and work together to process freight

May assist with customer pick-up/drop-offs, loading and securing flats
-
May assist with receiving Northern Air Cargo freight

Perform other duties as assigned

High school diploma or GED
-
1 year previous material handling and forklift experience, preferred

Must become forklift certified

Must be able to lift 50 pounds

Efficiently handle parcel packages (sort/seg) create a freight bill and palletize freight.

Knowledge of DOT and HazMat regulations
