Position Overview
Clover Phoenix Security & Consulting is hiring dependable Texas-licensed security officers for two separate types of assignments:
Scheduled On-Site Security Shifts
Scheduled shifts may vary by client and can include:
- Day shifts
- Evening shifts
- Overnight shifts
- Weekends
- Events
- Residential, commercial, and construction-site security
- Access control, patrols, hospitality, and crowd control
Pay:
- Level II Unarmed: $18/hour
- Level III Armed: $20/hour
- Level IV PPO: $22/hour
Mobile Response Callouts
Mobile response is currently an overnight, on-demand assignment type. Officers respond to alarm-related calls, inspect the property, document findings, and contact law enforcement when appropriate.
Most calls take approximately 15–30 minutes.
Pay per completed callout:
- Level II Unarmed: $21
- Level III Armed: $23
- Level IV Armed: $25
Each completed callout includes a one-hour minimum. Calls lasting longer than one hour continue at the applicable rate in 15-minute increments.
Officers are paid for completed callouts, not for time spent waiting for assignments.
Requirements
- Active Texas DPS Level II, III, or IV security license
- At least 18 years old
- Reliable transportation
- Valid driver’s license and current auto insurance
- Smartphone
- Professional appearance
- Strong communication and reporting skills
- Dependable attendance
- Ability to work varied shift times based on assignment availability
Applicants interested in mobile response should have overnight availability and be able to reach Central Austin assignments promptly.
