Job Summary
H&S Construction & Mechanical, Inc. is seeking a skilled and motivated Sheet Metal Worker to join our growing team. In this role, you will fabricate, assemble, install, and repair sheet metal, piping, and structural steel components for commercial and industrial construction projects. The ideal candidate is experienced in metal fabrication, can interpret technical drawings, and is committed to producing high-quality work while maintaining a safe jobsite.

Responsibilities
- Fabricate, assemble, install, and repair sheet metal, piping, and structural steel components.
- Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, shop drawings, and technical specifications to ensure accurate fabrication and installation.
- Measure, cut, bend, and shape metal using hand tools, power tools, plasma cutters, press brakes, and other fabrication equipment.
- Perform pipe threading, soldering, brazing, and assembly in accordance with applicable codes and industry standards.
- Install HVAC ductwork, piping systems, and related components while maintaining quality workmanship.
- Use precision measuring instruments, including calipers, micrometers, and tape measures, to verify dimensions and tolerances.
- Safely operate forklifts, rigging equipment, and other material-handling machinery.
- Inspect completed work to ensure compliance with project specifications and company quality standards.
- Maintain tools and equipment in good working condition.
- Follow all OSHA regulations, company safety policies, and jobsite procedures.
- Keep work areas clean, organized, and free of hazards.
- Work effectively with supervisors, foremen, and other trades to complete projects on schedule.
Qualifications
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in sheet metal fabrication and installation (preferred).
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings.
- Strong mechanical aptitude and knowledge of fabrication techniques.
- Experience with plasma cutting, pipe threading, press brake operations, and metal fabrication equipment.
- Familiarity with HVAC ductwork, piping systems, and structural steel fabrication.
- Experience safely operating forklifts, rigging equipment, hand tools, and power tools.
- Basic mathematical skills for measurements, layout, and material calculations.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship.
- Ability to lift up to 75 pounds and perform physically demanding work, including standing, kneeling, climbing ladders, and working at heights.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced construction environment.
- OSHA 10 or OSHA 30 certification is preferred.
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation are preferred.

Pay: $70.00 - $120.00 per hour
